George Harrison, "Electronic Sound"

George was the first Beatle to go solo with the soundtrack to Wonderwall in 1968. His second solo album, Electronic Sound, is a pair of experiments on the Moog, neither of which, along with Wonderwall, even hinted at the explosion of brilliant songs that were to come on his third solo album.

I had been warned how worthless this was, but when I found a cheap import back in the 70s I couldn't resist.

Parts of it actually sound like a child running up and down the keys.

As I recall Bernie Krause claimed that some of it was him teaching George the basics of the sythn.

The full story can be found in the book, "Into a Wild Sanctuary: a life in music and natural sound" (Heyday Books, 1998), by Bernie Krause. A good read for people into synth history and tracing particular music/pop geneology.
