The Organ Symphony

We're big fans of turning compositions into pop songs, like Baz Luhrmann turning Oberon's blessing from Britten's version of A Midsummer Night's Dream into a dance-pop vehicle for Christine Anu, or Eric Carmen out-schmaltzing Rachmaninoff with "All By Myself" (and let's not forget Pootie Tang's cover of 4'33").

And one of our all-time favorites is the one-off single from 1977 by Scott Fitzgerald & Yvonne Keely, "If I Had Words", based off the grand finale to Saint-Saëns' Third Symphony.

Symphony No. 3 in C Minor, "Organ"
I. Adagio - Allegro Moderato
II. Poco Adagio
III. Allegro Moderato, Presto
IV. Maestoso, Allegro
