STILLE POST | CHINESE WHISPER @ Krieg der Sprachen
A song wanders through musicians of different kinds.
Two people meet, the one teaches a song to the other. The other makes his/her own version and teaches it to the next. But there is the rule, that for teaching you have only 20 min. and for making the own version only 40 min. The song wanders through 10 different musicians, through 10 different languages. In the concert all 10 versions are presented and the listeners can follow the development and change of the song.
Kati Linek performs the 8th version/corruption of the original. (There is no way you can guess what that might be. But if you are even close I'll think of something amazing to reward you for your insane imagination).

Kunstraum Sumpfhahn Updates
Kultur + Leben ...
or KuLe (culture & life) is a longtime project and artist community. The house has been squatted in 1990 by a group of theatre students. In the middle of the nineties they could get a contract and renovate the building. The 14 artists living in the house now use the basement for performance research, rehearsals and for various non-profit public activities, mainly concerts.
Situated in Berlin-Mitte, KuLe hosts the Labor Sonor Series in its basement space. On June 25, I will be performing there as well as Christian Kesten and Jamie Drouin.
