CHRISTINA CARR, Mezzo-soprano

A first-prize winner of the New York Vocal Artists Competition, Christina has performed around the country, establishing herself in a variety of roles, such as Alisa in Lucia di Lammermoor at Opera Omaha, Zulma in L'Italiana in Algeri. She also created the role of Jane in the world premiere of Gabriel's Daughter by Henry Mollicone.

An alumni of both Juilliard's Opera Center and Eastman, Christina has performed several world premieres with ANALOG arts ensemble, most notably Rudolf Kamper's Baltasar & Blimunda at ARTSAha 2004.
