REECE DANO, Composer

Reece Dano has written and premiered four operas to date, addressing various themes such as manic-depression, teen suicide, cybor gender confusion and an unbiased look at the demise of Michael Jackson. He is currently living in Portland, Oregon and working on operatic adaptations of E. Thomalen's The Metamorphosis (Kafka) and Joe Wenderoth's Letters to Wendy's. He is also an active member of the Portland-based electro-metal rock band The Sexy Sex.

In 2004, ANALOG arts ensemble gave the world premiere of Dano's C#DG#BEC# G#F# D#ECD# (Pierre Boulez Is Dead).
