DARCI GAMERL, Oboe
Darci currently freelances in the Omaha area, and holds an adjunct faculty position with Creighton University. An alumnus of the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music (MM), Darci teaches private lessons, and plays with area symphony orchestras: Omaha, Lincoln, Kansas City, Des Moines, Sioux City, and the Duluth Superior Symphony.
She is active as a chamber musician performing with both ANALOG arts ensemble and the Omaha Chamber Music Society. She has performed internationally as a soloist and orchestral musician, most recently with the Symphony Orchestra Academy of the Pacific in Powell River, British Columbia, with Mr. Ray Still. Ms. Gamerl is also the founder and editor of OboeNews, a monthly newsletter for oboe students and educators.
