JOHNNY CHANG, Violinist & Composer

With two degrees from California Institute of the Arts, Johnny has worked extensively as a soloist and chamber musician around the world with groups like 175 East from New Zealand, Ensemble Sospeso, and Southwest Chamber Music. Having performed everywhere from Carnegie Hall to the Schoenberg Institute, Johnny's music was a part of the first ARTSaha! when ANALOG arts ensemble gave the world premiere of his Modulations & Interludes.

Most recently, Johnny was involved with the world premiere of Usef Lateef's String Quartet No. 1, and his highly successful Microscores project has yielded a staggering amount of material from some of today's most prominent composers.
